Online | Offline - Technology Takes Form Think Indian Art. What comes to mind? Maybe Raza, Souza, Jogen. Now think technology - and you'll probably imagine an IPhone or a MacBook Pro. Today, these two distinct disciplines are interlinked more than ever, with technology being a fundamental force in the outreach and evolution of art. Indian art is becoming less static and more detached; galleries, artists and auction houses are pushing the boundaries of "traditional" viewing, distribution and marketing of Modern and Contemporary Indian Art. Our current exhibition, Online | Offline – Technology Takes Form, we have selected works by fifteen leading Indian artists from our virtual platform, www.gallery7.com which will transcend mediums and will be on exhibit at Gallery 7. A conscious attempt to "extract" meaning from technology and to try and “bridge” the gap between the virtual and physical realm where the two can co-exist in some sort of harmony. Show Extended Until 9th December 2017
