Jagdish Phad
1965Jagdish Phad was born in 1965 in Mumbai.
In 1985 he received his A.T.D from L. S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai. In 1988 he completed his G. D. in Fine Art from L. S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai.
He participated in many group shows:
From 1984 - 1987 he took part in the Maharashtra State Art Exhibitions. From 1991 - 1995 he participated in Bombay Art Society exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. From 1994 - 1996 he took part in the Annual Art Exhibition of the Art Society of India. In 2016 he participated in a group show 'The Melting Pot' at Gallery 7, Kalaghoda in Mumbai.
He won several awards:
In 1983 and 1984 he won Bronze Medal for academic work. In 1984 he won Silver Medal for academic work. In 1984 and 1987 he won Maharashtra State Art award. In 1985 he won an award from Raheja School of Arts. In 1986 he won the Inter-College Fine Art Competition. In 1986 - 1987 he won the Camlin Award for Portrait competition. In 1994 he won an award for Portrait painting from Bombay Art Society at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. He received life membership of the Bombay Art Society, Artists Centre and Art Society of India.
Jagdish lives and works in Mumbai.
