Swapnil Shyamrao Jagtap was born in 1993 in Osmanabad.

In 2015 he received his degree in B.F.A. from Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai.

In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 he won merit certificates in the Annual Exhibition of Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. In 2014 he won merit certificate in Maharashtra State Art Exhibition in Mumbai. In 2015 he participated in the Sir J. J. School of Art Annual Exhibition where he won Dolly Cursetjee Prize, Bendre Foundation Award and the Gallery 7: Arun Sachdev Award at J. J. School of Art exhibition held in Mumbai.

He lives and works in Mumbai.
