Rowena Girneet Baweja was born in 1982 in Chandigarh.

She is a Graduate of Cinematography from The University of Arts, London. 'The Undertaker', her graduation film was screened at the Cannes Short Film Quarter in 2005.

She has participated in group exhibitions: In 2015 he participated in 'Painting Dreams, Coloring Lives' at Gallery 7, Kalaghoda in Mumbai. In July 2015, She attended the Halka Art Project in Istabul - Turkey.

She lives and works in Mumbai.
